Als Musikerin hat sich Teddie Hwang auf historische Flöten des 17. bis frühen 19. Jahrhunderts spezialisiert. Neben der Musik ist Teddie Hwang Porträtfotografin für Musiker und auch Kursleiterin bei der Online-Schule “The Compelling Image”. Ihre Multimedia Konzerte und Vorträge über die Gemeinsamkeiten zwischen Musik und Fotografie haben sie auf Podien von Musikstudios bis hin zu internationalen Festivals geführt.
Teddie is a flutist who devotes herself to the fine art of photography when she’s not busy with making music. Combining photographic techniques and her interest in the classical arts, Teddie wishes to express the essence of the artist in a musician and not just provide a simple “headshot”. She treats her images like musical compositions, each having a specific structure, style, and emotion. When at work with the camera, she sees the session as an artistic collaboration between subject and photographer.
